Michelle completed her Master Massage Therapy Certification in 2013 at the Southwest Institute for Healing Arts in Tempe, Arizona, where she trained extensively in massage techniques and holistic modalities, with a primary focus on reflexology and cranial unwinding. She expanded her skills the following year by completing her Yoga Teacher Training at the Spirit of Yoga in Tempe.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Michelle has pursued a wide range of additional training across the United States, including aromatherapy, cranial sacral therapy, reflex integration, rhythmic movement, cold laser therapy, and kinesio-taping (Levels I & II). In 2013, she earned her CST designation with the Upledger Institute.
After returning to Toronto, Michelle obtained her RMT designation in 2017. With a strong interest in the nervous system, fascia, and functional movement, she has continued her education in yin yoga, restorative yoga, cupping, and Graston Technique. She also has advanced training in lymphatic drainage, having completed Vodder Level I as well as Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage.
Over the past several years, Michelle has worked primarily in rehabilitative settings, supporting clients with complex health needs, including neurological impairments and orthopedic injuries. She has treated a diverse range of clients, from athletes to children and seniors.
Michelle’s treatments focus on rehabilitation and therapeutic care, with a strong emphasis on client education and empowerment through remedial exercise. Drawing from her wide array of skills, she is committed to helping clients achieve their wellness goals with both compassion and expertise.
